Involvement

This student government team represents UCLA Honors Programs and plans various events throughout the year. As an Executive Board member for 2 years, I have ran meetings, oversaw all committees, and held counseling hours for Honors students.

As a member since 2019, I have participated in Excel Financial Modeling and ARGUS workshops, as well as general Microsoft Office training.

Within this organization, I have networked with professionals in various financial industries and engaged in job skill trainings, such as Excel workshops.

As a Hispanic Scholarship Fund National Scholarship recipient each year from 2019-2022, I have also volunteered at events for HSF and mentored other college or high school students. 

Our mission is to connect people and resources together to help establish a society where no individual is without this basic human right. As the founder, I intend to provide resources to those in need of housing and connect donors to affordable housing organizations.

This Honors Program is rooted in interdisciplinary approaches to learning that are “hands on” (experiential); that help students establish meaningful connections among the various components of their undergraduate careers (integrative); and that enable students to showcase their interests, abilities, and accomplishments (illustrative). 

As a volunteer since 2017, I have taken on various jobs to help make these events run smoothly. In the past, I have ran as a course sweeper, managed and organized food set-up, and supervised post-race activities. 

Through this annual program, I have taken on a new mentor each year at UCLA. I have job shadowed, learned from, and provided  assistance to professionals in the law, accounting, and real estate fields.
